MTB Equine Services is an Australian Equine Consultancy business specialising in providing practical, science-based advice to members of the Australian and International horse industry.
MTB Equine Services is headed by Dr Mark Barnett PhD, a highly trained and qualified equine nutritional consultant with a PhD in Animal Nutrition and Physiology. Dr Barnett has a lifelong association with horses, riding and competing from an early age before obtaining his PhD in Animal Nutrition and Physiology from the University of New England, Armidale (Australia). In 2015, Dr Barnett was invited to become the Lecturer of Animal and Equine Nutrition at the Charles Sturt University Veterinary School, Wagga Wagga NSW, teaching animal, equine and veterinary science students about the importance of quality nutritional selection. After leaving academia and a short stint in Queensland setting up an equine consulting business for an independent nutrition company, Dr Barnett decided to settle in the heart of the Horse Capital of Australia, Scone, with his family and establish his own Equine Nutritional Consulting business, MTB Equine Services.
